What Wagtale is
Wagtale, built by Satjana AI, helps pet care businesses write end-of-day report cards. Facilities upload pet photos and voice memos; we generate report drafts the facility reviews and sends to pet owners.
What we collect
Account details (name, email), facility details (business name, brand settings, writing samples), pet records the facility creates (pet names, breeds, owner names and contact details), and the photos and voice memos captured for each report. Usage counters and error logs keep the service healthy.
How content is processed
Photos and voice memos are processed by Google's Gemini models on Google Cloud to draft each report. Content is used to produce your reports, not to train models. Data is stored in Google Cloud (Firestore and Cloud Storage) in the United States, in a database dedicated to Wagtale.
Messages to pet owners
Report card emails are sent by our email delivery providers on behalf of the facility, with the facility's reply-to address. Every report email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. WhatsApp report cards are delivered through Twilio and are sent only after the facility confirms the owner asked for them; replying STOP turns them off at any time, and START turns them back on. Photo links in messages are time-limited. Pet owners can also ask their facility to stop reports at any time.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; we keep only the subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.
Your data, your call
You can export all of your data (JSON) or permanently delete your account yourself, any time, from Settings inside the app, or by writing to hello@wagtale.care. Deletion covers your tenant records, pet records, reports, stored photos and audio, your sign-in account, and your Stripe customer record. We keep your data for as long as your account is active; when you delete your account it is removed from our systems.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share personal information, run ads, or use advertising trackers, cookies for tracking, or analytics that follow you across other sites. Because we do not track, our pages respond to browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals the same way we treat everyone: nothing is sold or shared either way. Wagtale is a tool for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
